ABOUT
GRADUATE INITIATIVE AFRICA
Graduate Initiative Africa (G.I.A) is a model community-based organization in Wakiso District, Uganda, dedicated to empowering our grassroot community through spear heading social transformation initiatives aimed at improving the general wellbeing of our people. Founded in 2018, G.I.A addresses key challenges such as youth unemployment, gender-based violence, human rights abuse, ill health, and poverty.
With our motto, “Empowered to Empower,” we equip individuals with practical skills in hairdressing, tailoring, welding, mobile phone repair, makeup artistry, computer literacy, and construction, enabling them to become self-reliant and economically independent.
